We moved in to the new place this weekend--the longest weekend of our lives. We haven't got everything over here yet, but we've slept here two nights now. We're still getting used to the new noises of this house (like the garbage collection at 5am Monday morning) but so far, so good.
This place is much, much bigger than our last place, which is nice. Though Juma managed to find something to complain about: He has to walk really, really far from the bathroom to his bedroom after he gets out of the bath. All wet and cold. And this place is colder; it's the nature of these old buildings. Thank goodness we don't have to pay the heating bill.
I'll take some pictures once we get settled in more and post them.
Update: And on the first day here, I did a load of dishes and three loads of laundry. Oh, the simple pleasures of life.

Congrats to Justin on his exams!! Juma, sorry about the long cold walk to your room...sounds like you need a nice, warm bathrobe! I also enjoy the simple pleasures of a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the home...the things we take for granted!! Glad you guys are getting settled! Can't wait to see pictures.
Yeah, a nice cozy bathrobe might do the trick. Now we wrap him in a big towel, but this kid is sensitive to hot and cold. And he hasn't quite figured out that life has lots of things in it that aren't exactly perfect.
Congrats on getting the sexton job, and the new apartment, but most of all congrats on passing ORALS!!! Woo HOOO!!

Eva, hi! It has been too long. You three are definitely on our socializing list--we've been planning on inviting people over once we get a little settled.
I, for one, am looking forward to some pictures...
Don't worry, Monica, I'll get pictures up--but not until the boxes are unpacked and some pictures are on the walls. In other words, when it feels a little more like home.
